What is MovNat™ Training
Get back to moving in a primal natural way, such as we did as infants. We slowly progress through Movements to enhance joint mobility, muscle flexibility, and core stability and strength. You Learn basic ground movements first like crawling, squatting, sitting while being mindful of proper positioning like your alignment of your spine, shoulders and pelvis. Once these movements become familiar you are able to progress to more complex movements that build stamina and strength. Learning the basic movements first will allow you to move with efficiency and freedom as you run, walk, bike, swim, or just simply lift. You can create a strong, healthy body whether you are an elite Athlete or just wanting to improve your body to move easier and live more comfortably.
My training:
The certification for MovNat™ - level 1 - gives an introduction to MovNat's modality and foundational movements. You gain better movement skills to coach effectively and safely to others and how they can benefit from natural movement and how to properly position themselves in normal, everyday movements to prevent injury. You are required to study the 160 page MovNat manual as a physical education system and take a written and physical exam at the end of 3 days. We are tested on our coaching technique, movement skills, and physical stamina.
